Northampton is a town in the county of Northampton shire. The Nene flows through the city and flows through much of East England. Tribes lived in the area during the Bronze Age. The town grew considerably in the Middle Ages with the construction of Northampton Castle. Sometimes members of the British royal family also stayed here. In the city you will find a striking tower: the “National Lift Tower”. This tower is used to test elevators. It is the only tower of its kind in England.
