The Caro Hotel is located in a 19th-century palace in the center of Valencia, less than 200 meters from Valencia Cathedral. Part of the building is almost 2,000 years old, as can be seen in the Roman mosaics from the second century, the Arab walls from the 13th century and the Gothic arches. You can walk from the hotel to Plaza de la Virgen and the Basilica of Valencia within five minutes. The hotel combines historical details with modern design. The 26 elegant rooms are all individually designed, with minimalist elements by Francesco Rif.
We initially had a problem checking in, but the lady, I think it was Juliet at the front desk, put the customer experience first and sorted out the Robles and we were incredibly happy. All the staff were fantastic, helpful and considerate. Plus, breakfast is a must. Loved the hostess and the food itself. We will be worth adding to the booking.
