Paleis Hotel is a lovely hotel in the center of The Hague in a lovely location, just 1.5 km from Madurodam and just over a kilometer from the Parliament building. The Hague is a good choice if you like culture, shopping and loves good food. Pavlovna La Boutique Hotel has five rooms that are equipped with all amenities, including a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Some rooms have a seating area where you can relax after a busy day in The Hague. You can drink coffee while looking at the garden or looking at the city.
I booked the hotel because of its central location, but not only is it centrally located, it is in a particularly charming part of the city with narrow streets and striking buildings, shops, cafes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity is the Cafe de Oude Mol, which we missed but seems to be well known. The Bookstor around the corner in Noordeinde is a delightful bookstore and café. The decor and furniture were of high quality, reception staff very helpful, air conditioning in the room very welcome in hot weather. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was equipped with a Nespresso machine. The hotel rents bicycles at a very reasonable price.
