Hotel Oranjestaete is in the center of Nijmegen, perfectly located on a beautiful green canal with stately mansions. All rooms in the hotel feature a TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a refrigerator. Each private bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. Some rooms offer views of Nijmegen and the garden. Some studios even have a balcony or terrace. There are several restaurants within walking distance. You can use the hotel's bicycles to explore Nijmegen or take a bike ride through the beautiful Ooijpolder.
I wish I could give this place an 11 star rating, it was absolutely perfect! The staff was very nice, there were free bikes available and the room itself was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the shower felt very luxurious too. I stayed here for a conference at Radboud University, and my colleagues stayed at a fancier hotel near the train station. Accommodation at Hotel Oranjestaete was much better and less expensive.
