Things to do in Swansea
Swansea is a city in the south of Wales. The city was founded by Sven Gaffelbaard, a viking leader who in 1013 defeated the Saxons and was in charge of southern England and other areas. During the industrial revolution, the city was also known thanks to the large amount of copper in the ground. This gave the city the nickname 'Copperopolis'. The city is a popular seaside resort and has a large circular beach where you can stay well. If you follow the coastline you will automatically pass several bays, for example the beautiful Threecliffsbay.
