Things to do in Plymouth
Plymouth is a port city in the south of England. Traces have been found that the area was inhabited since the Bronze Age. Between the middle ages and the centennial war the city was regularly attacked by French fleets. On the coast several forts were built to bring the French ships at a distance or sink. A number of these forts have been preserved and can be visited. The sea flows inland and forms to the Tamar river. Along the river you will find villages and fishing villages that have settled over the centuries.
